  WHAT IS ROWING ?

Great for weight loss, toning and building muscles, and increasing stamina, this machine is a fitness game changer. Rowers work out several major muscle groups and will help you develop both your upper and lower body. Most importantly, using a rowing machine gets your heart pumping and lungs working, providing a serious aerobic workout.

1. Rowing is a Full Body Workout

Rowing works 9 major muscle groups: quads, hamstrings, glutes, lats, core, shoulders, triceps, back and biceps.  As a result, rowing workouts offer both strength training and cardiovascular benefits.

2. Injury Prevention

Rowing is great for injury prevention and rehab because it is a low impact alternative to other activities.  You avoid all the pounding and impact of running and jumping.

3. You Control The Intensity

Similar to running, you can chose to sprint, moving hard and fast, or you can choose to do longer pieces, moving at a steady and conversational pace.  Additionally, you can make rowing more strength based or more aerobic based by using different stroke rates.
